Emma Udwin is a coach and a former European policy advisor. After graduating from Cambridge University in Medieval & Modern Languages, she became a broadcaster and journalist, working as political correspondent then Europe political correspondent for the BBC. She moved to the European Commission as a communication adviser to President Prodi, and was Commission spokesperson for External Relations for seven years. She held senior posts in a number of cabinets, largely pursuing her focus on external relations, and has managed divisions responsible for coordinating within the European Commission on migration and security. Emma has a Master’s degree in creative writing and is currently completing a professional certification as a life coach.
